In April 2012, the University of British Columbia (UBC) announced a radical transformation of its enrolment services office, from the traditional model to one in which every incoming undergraduate would be assigned a personal Enrolment Service Professional (ESP), who would become their single point of contact for virtually any question, throughout their undergraduate experience at UBC. These ESPs were trained in admissions, fee assessment, registration, student financial support, and student records. In September 2013, the program was to roll out to ALL undergrads at UBC.
