Thanks to a generous donor, Sudbury’s Collège Boréal gave all incoming students in September 2012 a free iPad 3. (Total cost: about $500,000.) The college is also the first francophone college to join Apple’s iTunesU network, giving students access to tens of thousands of free e-books.
