Gender Equity on Campus

Canada’s most trusted higher ed monitor and futurist, Ken Steele, reviews some long-term trends and recent developments regarding gender equity on campus, including recent pay equity agreements at McMaster University and McGill University. Also mentioned: York University’s Lassonde School of Engineering, the 50:50 Challenge, Women in Science and Engineering (WISE), and the European Commission’s feeble attempt to encourage young women to pursue STEM careers: “Science: It’s a Girl Thing.”
