Social Integration while Social Distancing

The COVID19 pandemic has disrupted campus life significantly in mere weeks, and will continue to reshape the student experience for several more years. As we head into our first largely-online academic year, how will our students, their needs and expectations evolve? How can we digitally deliver effective onboarding, advising, academic and social engagement, and the full range of supports necessary? How can we add value and depth to the off-campus experience? How can we work effectively as a coordinated team, when many of us may continue to work remotely for months?

In this fast-paced, interactive online workshop, Ken Steele will share emerging trends in student services and promising best practices, and lead us in an exploration of some key issues and actions we need to address in the months ahead.

Ken Steele is Canada’s leading higher education monitor and futurist.
